What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have upfront pricing on all labor projects. I prefer clients to pick out and retain their own material even if I have to pick it up or walk them through the process of purchasing it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Get a good idea of what the clients main concerns are ie timeline,materials, finish product. Prioritize client‘s concerns for duration of job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

On site engineering certificates in structural building techniques.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father was a master carpenter and I worked for and with him for years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Wide range of clients from homeowners to general contractors, to commercial building administrators.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently did a composite deck in Delhi Ohio that turned out great and was a real head turner with a herringbone pattern. It took two weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The lowest bid is never the best option.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Really depends on the project.
